Quantity Surveyor & Contract Manager

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction, renovation, or maintenance projects based on detailed analysis of materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring that costs are kept within approved limits.
• Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and resolving any disputes that may arise.
• Assess and manage variations to the scope of work, ensuring that changes are properly documented, priced, and approved.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact project costs or schedules, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and maximize project value.
• Provide value engineering advice to optimize project costs without compromising quality or performance.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information on project finances.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims for additional payment or time extensions, ensuring that the interests of the client and the project are protected.
•  Facilitate dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, or litigation, to resolve conflicts and disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field is often required
• Minimum 10 (ten) years experience as Quantity Surveyor of similar
  position
• Having experience worked in QS Consultant is preferable
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa
